Internships provide students with real-world experience and may optionally be used to fulfill a course requirement in the Communication or Media Studies BA degree.

The Communication and Media Studies Production Studio
Communication and Media Studies students can take a variety of production-centered courses. Students majoring in Media Studies have the option to concentrate in Production.

Pierson, Nietzsche, and Saul
Professor David Pierson chaired a television panel and presented the paper “Nietzschean Ressentiment as an Active and Reactive Force in Better Call Saul” at the 2022 Popular Culture Association Conference in April 2022.
Pierson’s paper argues that the philosophical and psychological concepts of resentment and ressentiment serve as compelling motivational forces in the lives and actions of the central characters that comprise the American TV series Better Call Saul (2015-present).
