The gift is part of a larger contribution that also includes support for the University’s Student Emergency Fund – established by Martin’s Point and the Foundation in 2019 – as well as ongoing funding for the USM Campus Food Pantry.
The first public performance of the alma mater is scheduled to take place at USM’s 145th Commencement on May 10 in Portland.
