Class of ’25: Belviga Mpolo’s journey starts with determination, ends with a degree
On Saturday, May 10, she’ll graduate from the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences, a GPA that hovers between 3.8 and 4.0, and plans to start her master’s degree in Social Work.
Profiles in Persistence: Nurta Hade ’21
Hade graduated from USM the spring of 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Behavioral Sciences degree with a concentration in social work — the first in her family to get a four-year degree. She plans to get her master’s in social work, also from USM.
