Saturday, April 26, 2025: Portland campus

Park free all day in our garage on Surrenden Street, which is attached to the Abromson Community Education Center.

Then, head across the street to our new McGoldrick Center for Career & Student Success and up to the second floor by the Salons to check in for the event.

Find a seat in the McGoldrick Center for Career & Student Success Salon on the second floor for a brief welcome from:

  • Dr. Jacqueline Edmondson, our President
  • Nicole Young from our Office of Admissions
  • Adam Tuchinsky, our Provost
  • Rodney Mondor, our Dean of Students
  • Our student ambassadors

Step outside the Salons to find our resource fair in the mezzanine area of the McGoldrick Center for Career & Student Success, where you can explore things like:

  • Athletics
  • Career & Employment Hub
  • Student Engagement & Leadership
  • University Counseling Services
  • University Health Services

…and many more!

Head over to the Sullivan Recreation and Fitness Complex to meet faculty from each of our undergraduate majors.

If you haven’t decided on a major yet, start exploring your options!

Gather on the first floor of the McGoldrick Center for Career & Student Success, where we’ll break into two groups. One group will get lunch while the other group takes a walking tour of our Portland campus.

Group A

  • 11:30 AM – 12:15 PM: Lunch
  • 12:15 – 1:00 PM: Portland campus tour

Group B

  • 11:30 AM – 12:15 PM: Portland campus tour
  • 12:15 – 1:00 PM: Lunch

Students head to the 7th floor of the Glickman Family Library to learn about life as a USM Husky — and play some Bingo!

Parents and family members head to Talbot Hall inside Luther Bonney Hall for an informational panel discussion.

Key staff members will represent the following departments:

  • Admissions
  • Advising
  • Orientation
  • Student Engagement & Leadership
  • Student Financial Services

Students and their families reunite on the second floor of our McGoldrick Center for Career & Student Success to hear from our deans and faculty. This is your chance to ask any remaining questions you have from the day.

Try out the METRO Husky Line bus service, or take a short 11-mile drive to our Gorham campus.

Take a 30-minute walking tour of our residential Gorham campus with one of our student ambassadors.

All tours will depart from the Admissions Welcome Center in Bailey Hall.
