Fall 2026 Semester
- August 28th – New Student Move In
- August 29th – Returning Student Move In for Portland Commons
- August 30th – Return Student Move In for Gorham Campus
- August 31st – First Day of Fall Classes
- September 7th – Labor Day, No classes, University offices closed
- October 2nd-4th – Parents’ Weekend and Homecoming
- October 12th – Indigenous People’s Day, No classes, University offices closed
- October 12-13th – Fall Break. Residence Halls remain open.
- October 14th – Classes Resume
- November 11th – Veteran’s Day, No classes, University offices closed
- November 25th-29th – Thanksgiving Break Residence Halls open. Dining Halls closed
- November 30th – Classes Resume
- December 11th – Last day of Classes. 24 Hour Quiet Hours begin
- December 14th to 18th – Final Exams. Students not living on campus during winter break need to check out of the Residence Halls within 24 hours after their last final, or by 5pm on December 18th, whichever comes first.
- December 20th to January 19th – Winter Break. Students seeking to remain on campus during Winter Break will need to submit the Break Housing Request form which will be available starting in mid-November.
Spring 2027 Semester
- January 17th – Move in for spring semester
- January 18th – Martin Luther KIng Jr Day – University offices closed
- January 19th – First Day of Spring Classes
- February – Housing Application for 2026-2027 opens. Watch for communication on specifics dates and deadlines
- February 15th – Presidents’ Day – No classes, University offices closed
- March 15th to March 21st – Spring Break
- April 30th – Last day of Classes. 24 Hour Quiet Hours begin
- May 3rd to May 7th – Final Exams. Students not participating in commencement or living on campus during the summer
need to check out of the Residence Halls within 24 hours after their last final, or by
5:00 PM on May 8th, whichever comes first. - May 8th – Commencements. Students participating in Commencement need to be checked out of the Residence Halls by 5:00 PM.
