Hall Features
Philippi Hall houses mostly upperclass students in doubles, singles, 3 and 4 person suites. In addition to general housing, the Rainbow Community for new and returning students is housed here, as well as Honors housing.
Gender Inclusive housing is available.
Room Features
Every room and suite has Wifi. Every single and double room comes with a closet, desk and chair, dresser, and regular twin size bed for each occupant, and a Microfridge. Double and single rooms are clustered in wings, and surround a central block of three single-user bathrooms. All windows have mini-blinds for privacy.
Suites also include a common living area and a bathroom shared by the suite residents. Common living areas contain a countertop, sink, under counter cabinets, two microfridges, and a couch. Suite residents are responsible for cleaning their own suite bathroom and other rooms within the suite.
Singles measure approximately 9′ x 12′, doubles 11’6″ x 16′, singles within suites 8′ x 11′, and doubles within suites 10’6″ x 16′.
Hall History
Philippi Hall was built in 2001 and is the second newest of our residence halls. It is named after Dr. Harlan Philippi, the first Dean of Lewiston-Auburn College.
