Graduates go on to careers in banking, insurance, investment, and corporate and public finance. The major also offers a Board Registered Certified Financial Planner (CFP) program for those interested in becoming personal financial advisors.
Experiential learning
Gain firsthand finance experience through internships at one of our 200 partner organizations. The internship is a cooperative, supervised work experience that involves the student, employer, and a School of Business faculty sponsor.
CFP Board Registered Financial Planning Program
Our Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Program satisfies the coursework requirement to sit for the CFP certification exam. Students who successfully complete the Program receive a certificate of completion that can be presented to the CFP Board.
