Pursue certification

Students who have an interest in adult mental health will be eligible for the Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician/Community (MHRT/C) certification, a valuable state-level credential issued through our Muskie School of Public Service.

Students gain foundational knowledge and familiarity with the roots of personality, gender and culture issues, approaches to diagnosis, factors that impact access, and psychotherapy techniques.
