USM Students may earn credit for licenses, certifications and other credentials granted by organizations outside the University. The submission of credential documentation does not guarantee the awarding of credit. To earn credit, credentials must be current, non-provisional, and demonstrate substantial evidence of college-level learning.

- Credit equivalencies listed on this page are subject to re-review as trainings change over time.
A list of commonly-submitted credentials and trainings are listed below. Current USM students should visit the MyUSM CPL page for more information.
This is not a comprehensive list of all certifications that have been accepted for credit. Students who hold state, national, and industry credentials that do not appear on this list may submit those credentials for review.
