Institutional Research serves the University of Southern Maine by providing information that supports institutional decision-making, policy formation, strategic planning, program evaluation, and quality enhancement.
TRIO Programs empower first-generation high school and college students, income-eligible students, and students with disabilities to explore and achieve their academic, career, financial, and personal goals.
The Promise Scholarship is designed to help underserved young achievers from Maine overcome financial, academic, social, and cultural barriers, remain in school, and graduate in four years with little or no debt — prepared to make their own contributions to Maine’s social and economic well-being.
Enrollment Management, Marketing, and Student Retention
The Enrollment Management, Marketing, and Student Retention unit is responsible for developing strategy and implementing and assessing strategic and operational programs to recruit, admit, retain, and graduate all students. The unit embraces data-driven decision making that supports the USM mission.
