Thursday, April 9, 2026: Online via Zoom

After a brief welcome, hear from:

Saturday, April 11, 2026: Portland campus

Park free all day in our garage on Surrenden Street. Then, check in at the attached Abromson Community Education Center building on the first floor in the lobby.

Find a seat in Hannaford Hall for a brief welcome from:

  • Dr. Jacqueline Edmondson, our President
  • Dr. Zach Newell, Dean of Libraries and Learning
  • Dr. Adam Tuchinsky, our Provost
  • Academic Deans

Step outside Hannaford Hall to find our resource fair in the Abromson Community Education Center lobby where you can explore things like:

  • Athletics
  • Career & Employment Hub
  • Student Engagement & Leadership
  • University Counseling Services
  • University Health Services

…and many more!

Head over to the Sullivan Recreation and Fitness Complex to meet faculty from each of our undergraduate majors.

Focus in on conversations with faculty in your future concentration, or if you haven’t decided on a major yet, you can start exploring your options!

Gather on the first floor of the McGoldrick Center for Career & Student Success, where we’ll break into two groups. One group will get lunch while the other group takes a walking tour of our Portland campus.

Group A

  • 11:30 AM – 12:15 PM: Lunch
  • 12:15 – 1:00 PM: Portland campus tour

Group B

  • 11:30 AM – 12:15 PM: Portland campus tour
  • 12:15 – 1:00 PM: Lunch

Students will head to the 7th floor of the Glickman Family Library to learn about life as a USM Husky — and play some Pingo (Pingo is Bingo, USM-style, with awesome prizes)!

Parents and family members will return to Hannaford Hall in the Abromson Community Education Center building for an informational panel discussion.

Key staff members will represent the following departments:

Students return to their families in Hannaford Hall in the Abromson Center to hear from our deans and faculty. This is your chance to ask any remaining questions you have from the day.

Try out the METRO Husky Line bus service, or take a leisurely 11-mile drive to our Gorham campus.

Take a 30-minute walking tour of our residential Gorham campus with one of our student ambassadors.

All tours will depart from the Admissions Welcome Center in Corthell Hall.

Saturday, April 25, 2026: Gorham campus

Park free all day and then check in at the USM Field House Lobby.

Receive a warm welcome from leadership across USM at the USM Field House!
