Visits & Online Experiences

We’re proud of our diverse academic community and we want you to experience it! When it’s not possible to meet in person — and while we’re taking precautions to protect the well-being of our visitors and the University — we offer online and virtual experiences so you can connect with us and learn more about the University of Southern Maine (USM).

Take a Virtual Tour

Take a closer look at our three campuses through our interactive, virtual tour. You decide where to go, what to see, and how long to stay!

On-Campus Tours: Gorham and Portland

A limited number of in-person Gorham and Portland campus tours are available by appointment only. Choose a weekday between Oct 13 and Nov 19 to join us for an outdoor, 60-minute private walking tour with one of our USM Ambassadors.

Please note: We require the use of cloth face masks at all times. Lewiston campus tours are not available at this time.

One of our friendly student ambassadors will lead a 45-minute virtual tour through our YouVisit platform and share the same insider information you would only receive during an in-person campus tour. USM Ambassadors

Our ambassadors range from energetic first-year students to accomplished graduating seniors; from transfer students to working adults. Like our student body, these students each bring unique stories, experiences, and skills to help you find yourself here.
