Visits & Online Experiences

We’re proud of our diverse academic community and we want you to experience it! When it’s not possible to meet in person — and while we’re taking precautions to protect the well-being of our visitors and the University — we offer online and virtual experiences so you can connect with us and learn more about the University of Southern Maine (USM).

Take a Virtual Tour

Take a closer look at our three campuses through our interactive, virtual tour. You decide where to go, what to see, and how long to stay!

Chat with a Husky

Admitted students: To learn more about the USM student experience, we’re taking you straight to the source — our very own Huskies! Connect with a current undergraduate student via phone, email, or video chat. This one-on-one chat allows you to learn firsthand about all we offer so you can determine if our university feels like it could be home.

Connect with a Faculty Member

Whether you are at the start of your college search or have already sent in your application, one of the best ways to learn about our academics is by talking with our experts. You can connect one-on-one with an undergraduate faculty member or a staff member via phone, email, or video chat about your specific academic interests. Submit your request now to book a chat.

Our ambassadors range from energetic first-year students to accomplished graduating seniors; from transfer students to working adults. Like our student body, these students each bring unique stories, experiences, and skills to help you find yourself here.
