Groups & Psychoeducational Workshops
Counseling Services offers a variety of groups and workshops for students. These may change from semester to semester. Some prior offerings include Stress Management, Mindfulness, Grief and Loss, Self-Care, Early Recovery, and Men’s and Women’s Support Groups. Groups are announced each fall.

SilverCloud is an online platform that is available to all University of Maine System students at no cost. It offers self-guided programs for anxiety, depression, stress, and resilience. Based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) principles, the self-guided program is available anytime, on any device.

ScreenU
ScreenU is an online program that can help students explore if they are at risk for developing misuse of alcohol, marijuana, or prescription drugs. This anonymous services, available on a web browser or on the ScreenU app, is available to all USM students free of charge.
