• To receive credit or CEUs for completion of a certificate or course, program registrants are expected to attend a minimum of 80% of the total classroom hours. If you are unable to attend a class, please contact PDP customer services and they will inform your instructor: usmpdp@maine.edu or 207-780-5900.
  • 100% refund if you withdraw five or more business days before the class start date
  • Low Enrollment: If your class is cancelled due to low enrollment, we will notify you at least 3 business days before the class is scheduled to begin. You will receive a full refund.
  • Inclement Weather: In case of inclement weather, please call the USM Storm Line at (207) 780-4800 for the University open/close status. The recorded storm cancellation message begins at 6:00am and updates as necessary.
  • USM Delay or Closure: Though campus may be physically closed during inclement weather, we will still run our live-online Zoom classes unless we expect or experience a significant power outage. We aim to communicate to you with as much notice as possible if your class is impacted by weather. Outside assignments or a rescheduled class may be offered for any missed class time due to inclement weather.

  • Official CEU Transcripts and Certificates of Completion are issued upon request at no charge to PDP students. Upon completion of a course, and meeting the attendance requirements, registrants will be emailed a confirmation of course completion.
  • Transcript records are maintained for seven years.
