Undergraduate Exchange Students
USM is pleased to welcome exchange students from our partner schools around the globe. Exchange students attend USM for one semester or one academic year to complete coursework toward a degree at their home school. Exchanges to the University of Southern Maine are only possible if your school has an exchange or visiting student program with USM and if you have been selected by your university to participate in an exchange.
Once your home institution has nominated you please complete the undergraduate exchange application process using the link below. If your application is approved by USM you will receive an acceptance letter via e-mail and our office will reach out to you with more information on next steps. Please be aware of the USM application deadlines noted below.
