You can do all of that and more by signing into the University Health Services patient portal. This secure Electronic Health Record (EHR) is where visit notes, medical forms, insurance, and secure messages are stored for each and every student of the University. To access the patient portal, log on to and click USM Quick Links drop-down menu and click the Health Record link. This link will redirect you to the EHR. You can also access the EHR from here by using the button below. Click the USM Quick Links dropdown and then click on Health Record.

Note: You will be prompted to log in using your single sign-on. Once logged in, click the USM Quick Links dropdown and then click on Health Record.

Once you are logged into the patient portal you will have access to secure messages from your provider(s), reminders about upcoming appointments, reminders to complete required paperwork, the ability to upload documents, access to immunizations administered by UHS, and some additional interfaces. Secure messages can only be accessed in the EHR. An automated email is sent to your account notifying you that you have an unread message in the EHR. Remember to check your email account often for these notifications! Please check both your inbox and your spam folder. The system we use is automated and depending on your google settings it may be flagged as spam.
