ParkEngage Virtual Parking Permit Information
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is housed in 210 Wishcamper Center on the Portland Campus of USM. The GPS address is 44 Bedford St., Portland, ME 04101.
Parking Options on Campus
USM parking requires a virtual permit and is open to OLLI members Mondays through Saturdays.
Annual Pass
- $50 fee
- Valid from Jul 1 – Jun 30
- Permit category: Visitor
- Permit type: OLLI
- Select or deselect auto renewal as desired
Monthly Pass
- $10 fee
- Valid for the calendar month
- Permit category: Visitor
- Permit type: Visitor Daytime
- Select or deselect auto renewal as desired
Hourly Pass
- $4.15 per hour
- Paid at a garage self-service kiosk – be sure to know your license plate number
Where to Park on the USM Portland Campus
- OLLI students must park in the USM parking garage attached to the Abromson Community Education Center, located on Bedford Street.
- The parking garage will automatically scan your license plate to ensure you are registered with ParkEngage. There will be no exit gate.
- ADA parking is available in both garages. Only OLLI students with ADA license plate or an ADA hangtag can park in ADA spaces.
Purchase a Permit Step-by-Step
- Go to the ParkEngage webpage
- Under “permit category,” select “visitor”
- Under “permit type,” if you want the $10 monthly option, choose “Visitor Daytime;” if you want the $50 annual pass, choose “OLLI”
- Enter up to 5 vehicle plate #’s
- Fill in name, email, phone, address
- Create password: Password must contain 8-15 characters, including 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 1 number, and 1 special character.
- Enter credit/debit card
- You will receive an email confirmation stating “Your permit request has been received and is currently being reviewed. Once approved, you will receive an email with your parking permit. The parking permit will be a QR code that you will scan to enter and exit the garage/lot.”
- USM parking will review and approve your permit. Please ignore the section about needing to scan a QR code. This is NOT the case.
