ParkEngage Virtual Parking Permit Information

ParkEngage Parking Registration System

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is housed in 210 Wishcamper Center on the Portland Campus of USM. The GPS address is 44 Bedford St., Portland, ME 04101.

OLLI Parking Information

  • There are 3 parking options: There is a $ 50-a-year annual pass option, valid from July 1 – June 30th; there is a $10 monthly pass option; there is a $4.15 hourly option for parking at USM. (You will need to apply on the ParkEngage webpage via the link provided above)
  • Under “permit category”, select “visitor”
  • Under “permit type”, if you want the $10 monthly option, choose “Visitor Daytime”. If you want the $50 annual pass, choose “OLLI”

Where to park on the USM Portland campus?

  • OLLI Students must park in the USM parking garage attached to the Abromson Community Education Center, located on Bedford Street.
  • USM parking requires a virtual permit and is open to OLLI members Mondays through Saturdays.
  • ADA parking is available in both the old parking garage and the new parking garage. Only OLLI students with ADA license plate or an ADA hangtag can park in ADA spaces anywhere and only ADA OLLI students can park in the new garage.

How do I obtain a parking permit?

  • Register for a virtual parking permit via the ParkEnage webpage
  • Pay the $50 or $10 parking charge using the ParkEngage Parking Registration System.
  • Pull in the garage, and park.
  • The parking garage will no longer have a gate to enter/exit and will simply scan your license plate to ensure you are registered with ParkEngage.

ParkEngage parking permit – step-by-step

Steps to Purchase an OLLI Permit:

  1. Click the provided link to purchase a OLLI permit: https://customerportal.parkengage.com/usm
  2. Under “permit category”, select “visitor”
  3. Under “permit type”, if you want the $10 monthly option, choose “Visitor Daytime”. If you want the $50 annual pass, choose  “OLLI”
  4. Enter up to 5 vehicle plate #’s
  5. Fill in name, email, phone, address
  6. Create password “Password must contain 8-15 characters, including 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 1 number, and 1 special character.”
  7. Enter credit/debit card

You will receive an email confirmation stating “Your permit request has been received and is currently being reviewed. Once approved, you will receive an email with your parking permit. The parking permit will be a QR code that you will scan to enter and exit the garage/lot.”

USM parking will review and approve your permit. PLEASE IGNORE THE SECTION ABOUT NEEDING TO SCAN A QR CODE. This is NOT the case.
