Snow removal parking bans for Thursday, Dec. 5 and Friday, Dec. 6
During two nighttime parking bans, crews will be removing snow from the Gorham Campus parking lots on Dec. 5 and Dec. 6. All vehicles must be moved from the banned lots or they will be towed. If you have questions, please contact Public Safety at 207-780-5211.

METRO begins Husky Line bus service between Portland and Gorham campuses
The inaugural ride of the new Husky Line — Greater Portland METRO’s new express bus service between Portland and Gorham — began Aug. 27th with cheers and fanfares.

The University of Southern Maine's Portland and Gorham campuses have a new ride -- Greater Portland METRO's new Husky Line! The Husky Line offers increased service, access to METRO's other routes in the region, lots of great new perks (free Wi-Fi and more), and it will help USM meet its sustainability goals.
USM launches bike patrols on Portland and Gorham campuses
University of Southern Maine Public Safety officers have begun appearing on the Portland and Gorham campuses astride mountain bicycles, part of a new effort aimed at encouraging friendly interaction with students.
Bedford Street (USM Portland Campus' main road) to undergo construction this summer
The City of Portland, as part of its overall sewer separation project, will be doing construction from Baxter Boulevard up to Brighton Avenue along Bedford Street this summer, impacting the Portland campus.
