MSW Admissions Information Session

Join us on either Wednesday, September 27th or Wednesday, October 4th from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. via Zoom. Hosted by the Office of Graduate Admissions and MSW Program Coordinator, Dr. Rachel Casey, this is your chance to learn about the MSW program options, the application process, and more!

Bachelors of Arts in Social Work (BSW)

  • Preparation to work with individuals, groups, families, communities, and organizations as a professional social worker through a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum.
  • Immersive social work experience, with a 400-hour internship placement for the entirety of your senior year.
  • Graduates of the program are eligible for the Certificate in Mental Heath Rehabilitation Technician-Community (MHRT/C) and to apply for licensure as an LSW.

Master of Social Work (MSW)

  • Standard, Advanced Standing, and Low-Residency Program Options
  • Full and Reduced Course Load Options
  • Preparation for Licensure at the LMSW-CC Level

CSWE re-affirms the accreditation of the USM SSW!

The School of Social Work is Re-Accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) until October 2029!
