ConnectED Pathways details

We facilitate seamless admission to corresponding programs at USM through our Transfer Agreements with MCCS. Don’t see your program listed? We continue to work with MCCS to expand our ConnectED Pathways together.

Please note: You must have a GPA of 2.0 or better to be considered for transfer admission into our Nursing — RN to Bachelor of Science Degree program if you hold an accredited associate’s degree in Nursing and get your RN license.

Keep an eye out for a notification from your community college that will let you know you’re eligible for ConnectED Pathways.

If you meet the following requirements, we’ll admit you as a rising junior in our corresponding academic program:

  • Maintain an overall grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or higher
  • Earn a C– or higher in each required course for your associate’s degree

Designated representatives from your community college and our Office of Admissions will provide advising and support services to ease your transition to USM. These contacts will be your go-to source for answers to all your questions about our university, your degree program, and the transfer process.

Once admitted, you can join the priority registration course selection process alongside rising juniors currently enrolled at USM if you confirm your enrollment before our priority registration deadline for the next academic term.

You’ll be considered for our ConnectED Pathways merit scholarship automatically when you apply for admission to USM through our ConnectED Pathways program.
